Note #1
Always use the smallest wires to make your install easier. There can be big differences between one wire type and another for the same AWG specs. PTFE Wires with the smallest OD are recommended such as those sold at The Saber Armory. A good wire management is also required, routing wires properly helps a lot saving space.

Note #2
These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. We have also typical soundboards wiring available in the Padawan Tutorials. Always test your install along the way! Verifying that everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything because something wasn’t wired properly.

Note #3
3D printed parts can have very slight accuracy variations. In some rare cases, some sanding or hole deburring can be required. Additionally, metal parts can arrive a bit bent, but are normally easy to bend back into shape. Consult the FAQ if you encounter issues with parts that cannot be solved easily.

Quick Install Guide
-
Step 1 – Separate the chassis parts
Step 2 – Cut the rods according to the other parts description on the right of the page.
Step 3 – Glue the NPXL holder in the Crystal Chamber slot.
Step 4 – Wire, then insert and glue the speaker in its Crystal Chamber slot. There is a channel under the speaker to pass the wires. Plan to group all wires well flat into a heatshrink tube.
Step 5 – Install the NPXL Pogo-pin connector and pass the wires into the CC tube. (make sure to add an additional + wire to feed the crystal = one less wire to go to the soundboard).
Step 6 – Glue the crystal into the chamber and install the single nano pixel.
Step 7 – Install the CC insert into the chamber, using the 3 rods to hold it (glue the rods to secure the assembly).
Step 8 – Glue the rods at the back of the chamber (the 218mm long rod on top, the 220mm rods at the bottom).
Step 9 – Glue the magnets on the chassis.
Step 10 – Install the 2 soundboard switches (4 tactile swithes), the battery contacts and the kill switch.
Step 11 – Join the chassis and wiring, then install the soundboard.
Step 12 – Install the magnets, battery contact and kill switch on the 2nd chassis (same as the first).
Step 12 – Glue the NPXL holder in the Crystal Chamber slot.
Step 13 – Glue the crystal into the chamber and install the single nano pixel.
Step 14 – Install the CC insert into the chamber, using the 2 rods to hold it (glue the rods to secure the assembly).
Step 15 – Install the NPXL Pogo-pin connector (make sure to wire the + of the nano pixel to the PCB = one less wire to go to the soundboard).
Step 16 – Wire, then insert and glue the speaker in its Crystal Chamber slot.
Step 17 – Assemble the chassis, crystal chamber and speaker cover to the rest, then secure the assembly by gluing the rods.
Step 18 – Install the 2nd soundboard.
Step 19 – Glue the magnet on the covers. The 1mm thick magnets go on the battery cover .
