  • Note #1

    Always use the smallest wires to make your install easier. There can be big differences between one wire type and another for the same AWG specs. PTFE Wires with the smallest OD are recommended such as those sold at The Saber Armory. A good wire management is also required, routing wires properly helps a lot saving space.

    These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. We have also typical soundboards wiring available in the Padawan Tutorials. Always test your install along the way! Verifying that everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything because something wasn’t wired properly.

CHAPTER 1 – Pre-assembling the chassis

  • Step 1: Separate chassis parts and prepare the tubes 
    Cut the prongs holding the following chassis parts together.

    The chassis takes 2 x 4mmOD tubes with 36mm Length.

    A M2 socket screw can be used to secure the CC part to the chassis body (optional, can also be glued).
    A M2 tap will be require to prepare the CC part threaded hole.

    Step 2: Pre-assemble the chassis for fitment check

CHAPTER 2 – Install the switch lock part and PCBs

  • Step 3: Install the NPX pogo-pin in the emitter.

    Step 4: Wire and install the NPX + Switch pcb (20.5mmOD Pogo-pins PCB)

    There is a slot to insert the Hex nut under the switch hole.
    Then insert it inside the hilt. Take the switch wires out and solder them on the switch. Screw the switch to lock and secure the assembly.

CHAPTER 3 – Main chassis install

  • Step 5: Install the on/off switch and battery contacts

    Step 6: Install the Speaker and speaker cap. 
    Glue the speaker, then glue the cap making sure it’s aligned properly. Test in the hilt to verify alignment.

    Step 7: Install the soundboard and single accent pixels.

    Step 8: Install the cover.
    There are 8 x 2mmODx2mmmagnets to be glued.

    Step 9: Glue the tubes and pass the wires into them.

    Step 10: Add Part 3.
    Glue it or use the M2 crew.

CHAPTER 4 – Crystal Chamber assembly

  • Step 11: Glue the crystal and CC insert into the main Crystal Chamber Part 2.

    Step 12: Add the single crystal pixel.

    Step 13: Wire the pixel with the one on the chassis, then assemble the crystal chamber onto the main chassis. Glue the the tubes on part 2.

    Step 14: Wire the NX + Switches pcb, and install it into its holder. Then glue the holder on the Crystal Chamber.

CHAPTER 5 – Mod the hilt screws

  • Step 15: The 2 screw lining up with the main switch need to be filed down, in order to give space to the battery.
