GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by DIYers during their install. You must have a good understanding of what you’re doing, of the components used and the safety measures associated to them. Always wear protective gear when working on install (gloves, eye protection, …), GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible in case of accident.

Note #1
Always use the smallest wires to make your install easier. There can be big differences between one wire type and another for the same AWG specs. PTFE Wires with the smallest OD are recommended such as those sold at The Saber Armory. A good wire management is also required, routing wires properly helps a lot saving space.
-
Note #2
These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. We have also typical soundboards wiring available in the Padawan Tutorials. Always test your install along the way! Verifying that everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything because something wasn’t wired properly.
-
Note #3
3D printed parts can have very slight accuracy variations. In some rare cases, some sanding or hole deburring can be required. Additionally, metal parts can arrive a bit bent, but are normally easy to bend back into shape. Consult the FAQ if you encounter issues with parts that cannot be solved easily.

Installation Guide Part 1 – Master Chassis
-
Step 0 – Prepare the parts and test the chassis fitment before starting the install. Parts weathering, rods cutting, … etc can be done at this stage.
The main chassis is in 2 parts to be cut away.
Step 1 – Install the kill switch. Glue it in its slot by inserting it from the speaker opening.
Step 2 – Install the Neg battery tab, solder one kill switch wire to it, then pass the wire as shown.
Step 3 – Install the 2020 pixel strips. a dot on the chassis indicate where to locate the first pixel.
Step 4 – Glue the 3mmOD tubes on the cover, then manage the wires into it.
Step 5 – Bridge the pixel strips wires (there is space around the kill switch to tidy them up..
Step 6 – Put in place the cover (wires need to go through the holes first, including the crystal pixel wires). Then add the 1mm rods to secure the assembly.
Rods can be glued in from the back.Step 7 – Install the speaker.
Heat shrinking PVC tape can be added to hide the speaker pads.Step 8 – Install the positive battery tab (bridging positive wires in the process).
Step 9 – Glue the crystal in its holder.
Step 10 – Add the 4mmOD tubes.
Step 11 – Install the crystal pixel.
Step 12 – Assemble and glue the crystal holder and tubes to the chassis.
Step 13 – Assemble the CC cage in the front chassis, and glue in the 1.5mmOD rods.
Step 14 – Motor install.
Insert the spinning part into the CC cage, then slide in the motor from the front and glue the spinning part on the motor stem (being extra careful not to glue it on the motor itself).
Once the spinning part secure and tested, slides back in and glue the motor.
Step 15 – Glue the magnets on the CC cage door, and add it to the CC.
Step 16 – Assemble and glue both chassis halves. The wires are passed through each side channels.
Step 17 – Glue the battery cover magnets on the chassis and cover.
Step 18 – Measure the 1.5mmOD rods length needed for the hinges. Then glue them as shown.
Step 19 – Install the duplicate Aux switch, and check that it fits well with the front cover.
Step 20 – Install the soundboard.
Another pixel strip can be added on top of the soundboard.Step 21 – Install the NPXl+Switches PCB.
Step 22 – Glue the soundboard cover magnets. Then measure the 1.5mmOD rod size and assemble the cover.
Installation Guide Part 2 – Hilt Assembly
-
Step 24 – Remove the brass pins on the hilt using tweezer (well protected to avoid scratches on the pins).
Step 25 – Install the switches and the NPXL + switches connector.
Step 26 – Remove the hilt emitter assembly. Then insert the switch holder chassis (there is a notch on the chassis side that matches the pins holes). Screw back the pins to lock the chassis.
Step 27 – Insert the NPXL holder into the emitter and lock it with the set screw.
Step 28 – Clock the emitter correctly, as shown in KR assemble video.
Step 29 – Once the right orientation secured, the top emitter can be unscrewed to allow for the NPXL connector installation. Glue the connector in its holder, then screw back in the top emitter.
DONE!
