Three chassis variants are available for Helv’tica Satele Shan staff
– Variant 1 – single hilt install with 28mm Premium Speaker and single 18650 (or 2×16340 for 7.4v) battery.
– Variant 2 – single hilt install with 24mm Bass Speaker and single 18650 (or 2×16340 for 7.4v) battery.
These chassis have Multiboards Adaptive Chassis to hold all major soundboards form Plecter Labs and NEC. Given the structure of the hilts, these are not reveal chassis and are structured to secure the electronic install and ease the access to SD, Recharge Port, Rice and On/Off switch by removing the pommel.
/!\ If you want to install 2 sabers in staff mode with only one soundboard, It is always possible using 2 chassis.

– These instructions will details the install procedure as much as possible. GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by DIYers.
– Always wear protective gear when working on install (gloves, eye protection, …), GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible in case of accident.
Note 1: 30awg wires and smaller are mandatory for this install (30awg for main wires and 32awg for accent leds and switches are highly recommended)…. Oh and definitely use colored wires to make your life easier.
Note 2: These instructions will not cover the whole install and will present the main step or point of difficulties.
Note 3: Recharge port wiring reminder:
There is a little part to cut away from the main chassis. This a plunger for the main switch.
Insert the chassis and mark where the tactile switch is to be located. Once the wired and installed, the plunger can be added
The battery insert from the back of the chassis. It is recommended that the battery wires exit from the top side .
There are channels dedicated to pass the wires through, the soundboard is on its dedicated chassis part.
If an Aux switch is used, same as before, mark where is would be located, then add the switch to the chassis.
The chassis uses a 1.3mm High Amp recharge port, which is to be glued (led facing down) on the chassis back.
The 28mm flat speaker inserts from the side (pass the wires first). It is easier to make the speaker wires exit from top, the double back.
You can install the on/off switch on the back, both recharge port and switch will thus be accessible by removing the pommel.
