Quick Install Guide:

Disclainer:
– These instructions will details the install procedure as much as possible. GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by DIYers.
– Always wear protective gear when working on install (gloves, eye protection, …), GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible in case of accident.

Note 1Use small wires to make your install easier (30 to 32awg, PTFE). A good wire management is recommended for this build as teh internal space available is small.

Note 2: These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. make sure to test your install along the way! Making sure everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything because something wasn’t wired properly.

First of all, go through the assembly video to understand how the TD kit is to be put together:

Also check this wiring diagram posted by KR Sabers:

Step 1: Adjust the 3 retention screws as shown in the video. Once the assembly locks perfectly, a drop of super glue can be added on the screws to make sure they won’t change position.

Step 2: Insert the chassis into the metal ring, making the sure the window on the side matches with the 3 accent leds holes.
Note: If the chassis doesn’t enter fine into the ring (difference in tolerances can happen between the part machining and 3D printing), sand the internal ring with a dremel (this inside part won’t show once everything is installed).

Step 3: Wire and add the Aux switch into its dedicated slot in the chassis (use a drop of super glue to secure it)
An additional Aux switch can be installed by modifying the red indicator assembly (with the additional 3Dprinted part), but we have chosen not to do so on this one.

Step 4: Wire and insert the optional on/off switch (from the bottom on the chassis)

Step 5: Some optional 1.5mmOD rods can be added. They are purely cosmetic.

Step 6: Wire the 3 accent leds and place them into the holder pieces. Then insert the holder in the metal ring (a bit of super glue is used to secure them in place).

Step 7: Wire the Li-Po battery to the USB recharge / protection PCB. Then insert then into the chassis, with the USB port facing toward the exterior. Use again a bit of super glue to secure both battery and recharge PCB into the chassis.

Step 8: An additional (optional) 3mm accent led can be glued under the speaker slot (wired to the 3.3v pad of the TD soundboard, it will give an indicator).

Step 9: Wire and glue the 28mm bass speaker into its slot.

Step 10: For the main lever switch, the leads under it must be cut to the minimum (leaving 1mm to solder the wires). Once wired, insert the main switch into the middle slot, with wires existing as shown below. Super glue is used to secure the switch to the chassis wall.

Step 11: Wires the soundboard. Then insert it with the SD card facing the interior of the chassis

Step 12: Add the optional metal chassis part. It can be glued as show below.

Step 13: Another optional 1.5mmOD rods can be added for cosmetic.

Step 14: Making sure everything is working fine, wire the last 5mm accent led and insert it on the red indicator slot.

Step 15: To close the upper TD part and screw the ring on it, place the main switch lever on the middle, and place the TD thumb lever on the middle as well, so that both will match when closing.
