Note #1
Always use the smallest wires to make your install easier. There can be big differences between one wire type and another for the same AWG specs. PTFE Wires with the smallest OD are recommended such as those sold at The Saber Armory. A good wire management is also required, routing wires properly helps a lot saving space.
-
Note #2
These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. We have also typical soundboards wiring available in the Padawan Tutorials. Always test your install along the way! Verifying that everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything because something wasn’t wired properly.

Note #3
3D printed parts can have very slight accuracy variations. In some rare cases, some sanding or hole deburring can be required. Additionally, metal parts can arrive a bit bent, but are normally easy to bend back into shape. Consult the FAQ if you encounter issues with parts that cannot be solved easily.
Quick Install Guide
-
Here is a pretty straight forward install, the only particularity is linked to the hilt structure: the 2 chassis are installed separately, then inserted into to hilt body, where wires will be joined (then hidden under the soundboard.
Note that KR OWK1 and OWK2 are basically using the same setup and install process (while the parts are slightly different and not compatible one another).
Here is a copy of the OWK1 guide:Battery Chassis
Wire and install the speaker, and battery tabs (all components are secured using E6000 glue or equivalent).
Wire and insert / glue the nano pixel in its slot. The pixel needs to be flush inside the slot. (the positive wire can go directly to the battery tab)
And finally, glue in the 4 magents.
Sounboard chassis
Wire and install the Soundboard, swithces and NPXL connector.
(optional) two 2020 short pixel strips can be added for extra effect on these flat surfaces
Crystal Chamber add-on Parts
Glue the 4 magnets, making sure to respect polarity with the chassis
Insert and glue the 1.5mmOD rod
Glue the 6 magnets. The 2 top ones must respect polarity with the cover.
Insert and glue the crystal in its slot.
Glue the 2 magnets that match the crystal holder part, and the 3 magnets that match the soundboard chassis.
Now the part can be added as shown, and removed when needing to access the soundboard or battery.
