Three chassis variants are available for Helv’tica Satele Shan staff
– Variant 1 – single hilt install with 28mm Premium Speaker and single 18650 (or 2×16340 for 7.4v) battery.
– Variant 2 – single hilt install with 24mm Bass Speaker and single 18650 (or 2×16340 for 7.4v) battery.
– Variant 3 – staff install (1 soundboard for the staff) with 28mm Bass Speaker, and up to 2×18650 battery pack.
These chassis have Multiboards Adaptive Chassis to hold all major soundboards form Plecter Labs and NEC. Given the structure of the hilts, these are not reveal chassis and are structured to secure the electronic install and ease the access to SD, Recharge Port, Rice and On/Off switch by removing the pommel.

4- Electronic components and blades:
⇒ Soundboard, the “heart” of our sabers is the Soundboard, here are the 2 major Soundboard producers:
Plecter Labs – from the entry level Nano Biscotte or Prizm 5.1 (recommended).
Naigon Elelctronic Creations – from the entry level Spark 2 to the high end I2.
⇒ Battery, 18650 3.7v single battery or 2×16340 7.4v stick pack (Var1, 2 & 3), 2×18650 7.4v stick pack (Var3 only)
⇒ Recharge Port, 1.3mm high amp recharge port
⇒ Battery charger, according to the battery voltage used.
⇒ Main Led, Tri-Cree XPE-2 recommended
⇒ Switches are provided with the hilt.
⇒ On / Off Switch slider switch (example).
⇒ Speaker, 28mm premium speaker (Var1), Saber Essentials 24mm Bass Speaker (Var2), 28mm Bass Speaker (Var3).
⇒ Wires, 30awg wires are mandatory on most our 3D Printed chassis. We are buying them from this eBay seller.
⇒ Heat shrink tubing, to protect your joints.
⇒ RICE port – a RICE port can be added with a micro jst port. Ex on ebay.
⇒ 1″ Heat sink.
⇒ 1″ or 7/8″ OD Blades.

Note 1: 30awg wires and smaller are mandatory for this install (30awg for main wires and 32awg for accent leds and switches are highly recommended)…. Oh and definitely use colored wires to make your life easier.
Note 2: These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual.
