Two chassis levels are available for Phoenix Props Kylo:
Sith Apprentice for a basic install, with a chassis mainly focused on securing all your electronics
Sith Master for a highly detailed reveal, including crystal chamber parts that can be printed in metal for the best reveal effect.

Both these chassis have the “MultiBoards Adaptive Chassis 2.0”  design which allows any major soundboards to be installed (Plecter Labs or NEC). They also both have a slot for Plecter Labs CEx satellite board.

For the Sith Master chassis only, here is a list of parts needed to install it:
 1.5mm OD Brass rods (4x100mm, 2x110mm)

Disclainer:
– These instructions will details the install procedure as much as possible. GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by DIYers.
– Always wear protective gear when working on install (gloves, eye protection, …), GOTH-3Designs cannot be held responsible in case of accident.

Note 1: 30awg wires and smaller are mandatory for this install (30awg for main wires and 32awg  for accent leds and switches are highly recommended)…. Oh and definitely use colored wires to make your life easier.

Note 2: These instructions will not cover how to wire the soundboard, make sure to learn how to by reading the manual. make sure to test your install along the way! Making sure everything works after important steps is better than having to dismount everything cause something wasn’t wired properly.

Note 4: Recharge port wiring reminder:

MULTIBOARDS ADAPTIVE CHASSIS

The recharge port is installed at the end of the chassis. There is a dedicated channel for the wires to pass around the 28mm speaker:

The soundboard is installed with the SD card slot facing down

The 4 x 1.5mmOD rod will hold the 2 front covers, and the 2 CC inserts.
After having installed the led and crystal into the CC inserts:
1) insert the rods from the front of the chassis, thus first entering the front side covers.
2) Then add the CC insert 2, pass the rods through.
3) Then insert CC Insert 1 and finish passing the rods into into.
4) Super glue will then be needed to secure the CC insert from moving.

The speaker in inserted sideways, and pushed in.
The speaker cover can then be added behind the speaker and locked with the 2 x 1.5mmOD rods on the soundboard side (as well as the 3 soundboard optional covers plates).
